HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese Grandmaster Lê Quang Liêm won the first round of the Spring Chess Classic held in St. Louis, US on Sunday.
The No 一 player, who has Elo rating of 二 七 一0, beat Benjamin Bok of the Netherlands (Elo 二 六 三 八) after 三 八 moves.
The HCM City-born Liêm will next face Aryan Tari of Norway (Elo 二 六 二0).
